About me
Dr. Sinan Abood is a GIS Scientist and Environmental Engineer with over 15 years of experience in geospatial modeling, remote sensing, and natural resource management. He serves as Aeronautics Data & Analytics Chief at MassDOT Aeronautics, leading UAS data processing, LiDAR analytics, and 3D modeling initiatives for transportation infrastructure. He previously held research roles with NOAA Ocean Exploration and the USDA Forest Service, contributing to national-scale geospatial programs. Dr. Abood holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a certified GIS Professional (GISP).
